Funnily enough I need some euros and was thinking do I buy them now or after the 12th. I think I will wait.
However in the scheme of things a couple of quid on foreign exchange is not life changing.
Makes you wonder though I reckon there maybe a few people who think holiday money, roaming charges, blue passports, gym membership and the price of Starbucks are top priorities in their lives

So, predictions, anybody?

...Well I dreamt that we will get the Conservatives by default and with a working majority. Both Corbyn and Swinson have become more and more toxic as the campaigning has progressed. I don't see the SNP being as strong and they think they are and neither they not the Lib-Dems will command enough seats to hold the balance of power (either left of right). Farage will creep away with his tail between his legs only to resurface post-election as the head (unappointed!) of his new Reform Party (as if we need another Farage-lead political party!). The DUP's days in the spotlight will be over. Too much will have been made of tactical voting, which will not work this time around.

Brexit will happen by the end of 2020 with a totally ****ed up "deal" the long term (2-3 years) effect of which will be another GE, this time with Jess Philips as leader of the Labour party. Corbyn will be assigned to the history books and will retreat into obscurity along with any resurgent militant Labourites.

Boris's "deal" will see chaos an disorder throughout the UK which will result in him being kicked out after losing his Uxbridge seat. Instead a more moderate leader of the party will need to try trying his or her best to stem the sweeping tide of compassionate Labour policies under Phillips.

Meanwhile Trump will loose the 2020 election to Elizabeth Warren and with her and Jess at the head of the Atlantic Pact countries, we will see a lessening in tensions throughout the world....Then I woke up!

Still, at least the will strengthen making trips to Euroland much cheaper. The will weaken quickly post-election so hold your fire before exchanging s to s prior to the French trip. Wait until it reaches 1.30 then get in quick as it will fall again quickly.

The city will react positively in the short term following the GE but the FTSE will not be able to sustain high numbers for too long. Buy now and get out in 6 months .

Remember...you read it here first!

Mate its not just the Tories its both sides, Labour just as bad, Kahn and JC both at the event but don't even bother attending stabbing scenes anymore.

It was a photo opportunity for both and both are making gestures their prospective governments and budget allowances cant complete!

Aside from this apparently now JC is offering cut price rail tickets and free travel, which the tax payer will pay for so not free. Is it in the grey book or another addition like the WASPI offer that's not costed and they will just add to the borrowing budget!

Hope their Experian score is high enough as they will have changed address within the last 5 years

Of course it's despicable ken.

But given the lack of morality in the current crop of politicians it's unfortunately not a surprise.

I don't think there are any depths they wouldn't stoop to.

great article - very funny. unlike Gove.

He did so much damage to the education system and then after that, Johnson puts him in charge of Brexit...

if they do win, we are royally screwed

But it won't stop.....

Conservative win - we want a rerun of the election as well as the referendum

Labour win - the money lenders will suddenly ramp up interest on loans and sorry we cant fulfil all our commitments

Lib Dem win - just won't happen

SNP win - cant happen but will still demand independence

Brexit win - cant happen but will still demand No Deal

Greens win - as per Lib Dems

The Great British public will loose as always but its the level of depth of ****tyness that we are left with will differ with each party!

Labour's numbers are laughable but reforestation is essential if our stupid species is to survive long term...

We need to change our habits or our kids and grandkids are f*****

I'd imagine re-foresting parts of a pretty arid very large country would have several benefits to the population.
