What would you hope this would achieve?
Most websites only use HTTPS protocol for online financial transactions.
The majority of info typed into this site is for public viewing / consumption, so there would be no need to secure the data transfer between client/server.
You could argue that maybe a secure/encrypted connection for updating the profile page would be nice, but then I just checked a few other websites (sites that take money like Tackle Box and Erics) and their profile pages do NOT use HTTPS
I don't think it's needed mate
