In reply to Post #105 I'm positive as Boycie has said that this thread was about Leadclips being fixed or running. Being as I feel that using a lead clip running is not safe I gave a safer alternative in run rings, Simples!😉
Only Dannyuk is still not convinced, and sadly the debate got personal, for which I am sorry. Sorry for you that you Carpe-diem can't get it, and sorry that to others I got dragged down to your level.
I should have remembered that you should never argue with an idiot...

If you're quick you can edit all your posts to make Josh and Boycie look stupid

In reply to Post #103 You've spent the last 100odd posts (not to mention the previous thread) telling everyone how safe a running leadclip is. Others (and it's the significant majority) have been trying to help you understand that it's not and offered you a safer alternative.

In reply to Post #101 That's correct if you are using a running rig , this thread is about lead clips fixed / running

In reply to Post #98 In my view running rigs come into it because imo they have a larger bore with less surface area in contact with line are a safer option than a running lead clip with with small bore and larger surface area in contact with line.

In reply to Post #97 Title of thread ... ledclips fixed / running . No mention of running rigs which are completely different yet everyone is harping on about them . I think you need a break from the keyboard more than most , I'm talking lead clips , why don't you start another thread on running rigs so you and your home boys can discuss you're lovely run rings

In reply to Post #95 Time for you to take a step away from the keyboard I think. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what the difference between a running & fixed leadclip is. Your comment was not even relevant to the one which you replied to.
You've backtracked, twisted & turned so much you don't even know what you're debating about now

In reply to Post #90 No , because people like you can't read a thread properly . A lead clip uses a swivel trapped in it either fixed or not . If it's not fixed it becomes free running once a fish takes . How simple do you lot need it explaining ?

In reply to Post #87 This thread is about semi fixed lead clips or unpegged lead clips . Why the **** would you use a lead clip as JUST a running rig ? The swivel is pushed in just like your inline to create a bolt rig effect then the line passes through the clip or on violent takes the lead actually can discharge depending on its size .
It's a semi fixed rig with no lead threaded on the line .
Hope this post can now open your blinkered view now on this rig
My first post on this thread explains it , why don't you people read the whole thread ?

In reply to Post #92 Now you've read the arguments, do you think it is acceptable to fish a running leadclip?
