In reply to Post #4305 It's fair to say that VAR didn't have it's best day yesterday...
having said that, the big wrong decisions were given by the on field ref too, so with no VAR, we'd probably be complaining that the ref was a joke and if only they would use video replays....
I could see Grealish doing well under Pep at City. He'd teach him the positional discipline he needs without squashing his flair. Look at what he's done with Sterling as an example.
United looking strong after the restart as Jeff says. Looking forward to seeing them vs Chelsea in the FA Cup. Don't think they've played anyone yet who is above them in the league so that will be a more telling result.
Scholes has apparently been saying that Liverpool are worried about Man Utd... I mean, it's close now. Only 34 points between us and them...

In reply to Post #4301 Well one thing for sure VAR is still a complete and utter ****ing joke
How much time and evidence do they need and they still get it wrong
Looks good Greenwood, looks confident, good skills.and more importantly is not afraid to take people on and have a run at goal instead of trying the 50 touches technique! Refreshing to see
As for JG, looked good to start with but as mentioned consistency is the key

In reply to Post #4303 Could Be right there magoo. In the past I could have seen him at the spuds, but not with mourinho there. His ego is too big for a player like grealish

In reply to Post #4301 I can’t see grealish going anywhere, talented kid but comes with baggage.
Not sure that maverick, free spirit type of player is as attractive as they once were.
I don’t think clubs can cope with the inconsistency

In reply to Post #4300 soft penalty in the Utd game... should've been a Villa free kick!
The young lad Greenwood is looking good. Grealish was anonymous for much of the game - not doing his transfer chances much good tonight...

In reply to Post #4295 I think it wasn't his best game, but maybe we were a bit unsettled with young Neco at left back..?
the sharpness was better across the team for me.
would like to see a new centre back in the Summer. I like Ake at Bournemouth

In reply to Post #4293 rarely happens, but that was a game where I wanted them BOTH to win....
We looked better tonight. 92 points on the board and counting...
City look like they're warming up to win the CL
