Funny how you mind plays tricks I always thought that Hale and Pace would not stand the test of time but many of their sketches still make me laugh

Few pints after, yes, before, I would be throwing up on the touch line lol 
Once read something with Jimmy Greaves, used to have the equivalent of a Sunday dinner and half a dozen pints, then go to the game and score a hat trick PMSL. Imagine that these days

Saturday game always met in the pub before and back in after a game, have you ever seen the Hale and Pace sketch of amateur football, the bit where he walks into the changing room with a fag on and says “ “Morning ****ers” cracked me up, so true to life 😂😂😂

Few 🍻s before a game as well , proper hardcore
Our skipper used to have a fag at halftime and pass it round between the lads that smoked , apparently it was to loosen the lungs 🫁
