In reply to Post #6305 Depending on how much the new owners have to spend on new players they could go for Pep Guardiola who's contract runs out in 2023. Good manager but he needs lots and lots of money to succeed.

In reply to Post #6303 That would be my first port of call. St james park is in need of a lick of paint and our training ground and academy is like that of a league one team so that needs bulldozed and rebuilt. Was watching an interview with amanda stavely earlier on the local news and they plan to rebuild everything from the bottom up. They certainly have the money to do it. The reuben brothers have loads of propert in the city from casinos, to pubs etc so they already had a vested interest in the city already. They sound like they are going to do it all properly and hope to win the premiership within 5-10. I will believe that when it happens mind but things certainly sound promising.

In reply to Post #6299 £300m for a premier league club, isn't that cheap? Man City subs bench costs more than that.

In reply to Post #6298 I genuinely dont get the premier league some times. Lots of unhappy fans about claiming some form of hardship through poor ownership, think they need to a big dose of reality and take a look at some of the teams in the lower leagues where clubs have been properly decimated by poor owners. Strange old world, I guess it's just a result of premier league machine that keeps steaming on

In reply to Post #6293 Yes the fat cockney has done well on that respect. So he served some kind of purpose. Bruce is shocking, its the same crap wk in wk out at least he will get a nice little pay cheque out of it. He has failed where ever he has went.

In reply to Post #6291 Makes me laugh not only did Ashley save the club he run it as a profitable business which made it a viable club to buy.
And yet all he got was abuse from the fans for not ploughing millions in.
And Bruce has done a decent job without loads of money and still in the Premier league.

I think I’d be accepting any first severance offer if I was Bruce......
