Nick used peanuts when he was fishing for it so I'm guessing people are jumping on the bandwagon of peanuts killed a fish for some reason.

It's a 50lb fish, Spring has just come and gone big old fish have a tendency to go over this time of year maybe just maybe it died, It's a sad state of affairs when people are trying to apportion blame for it's demise, could of been hit by a prop on a boat, predated, stress who knows **** happens.

My take on things, having seen the video of the fish dead in the water and the photograph with the chap and comments about the fish before it died is this.....The fish was ill/unwell for a few weeks prior to being found, whether the fish was unwell due to poor handling, spawning damage, poor peanut preparation who knows, but it was deffo seen struggling to swim. Whilst unwell, it was got by an otter, the video shows the face, tail and vital organ area ripped to shreds whilst in the water albeit dead. What a ****ing shame.

Like him or not, Nick will know how to handle a fish, itís been a long time since he had it. It canít be related. The video is less clear than the pics I saw, Iíd say itís been offered.

I think itís a sad state of affairs when Nick (as last captor) probably wants to push the otter thing just to try and get people off his back.

Of course, the capture was irrelevant in this fishes demise, regardless of how it met itís end.
