You are right mate, and he should do it. I would buy it in a heat beat. Everyone would.

You're right, books are dying.

Johnson's Railway Darren. Same elastic band rig. I did not take this photograph. It was taken on my camera, by a friend whom I had sent round to see a famous old 'Kent carp' in the edge, whilst popping in to see me. He took this wicked photograph of 'Kent Carp' on my camera. It got caught ten minutes later.

Thank you Darren. You was definitely one of the good guys. I remember meeting you, and you shaking my hand. Most did to be fair mate. It was not you in the Dead End that first day was it? My memory is terrible.

In the Dead End where I met you Darren, Sutton 2. Elastic band rigs in the under cut just along from the pads, and one in the corner. Peach common was caught ten minutes after this photograph was taken from the under cut. It's a scan of a print.

As Josh said, loads Nick. That's a very famous area of the river Thames fishing wise.

Yes Mark, we need Steve to write a book. Arguably our greatest carp angler and a fantastic writer.

He should do it whilst people still give a damn. Give it 10 years and there will be no carping books being published and no mystery left....due to otters. It would give us purists a proper boost during these transient times.
