anyone got the Jrc mod system? Looks like a nice idea with multiple sleeves and a "pocket"?

The wychwood solace hold-all will hold six made up rods safely.
It has one large and one small external pocket. I found it very good on the few occasions Iíve needed that much kit. It has a shoulder strap but Iíve never felt strong enough to carry it like that when itís loaded fully.

This is what I do. I have a hold-all with 3x10í, a hold-all with 3x13í, and my spod & marker rods in separate sleeves. Very flexible in use, easier to handle, easier to load into car as requires smaller spaces.
Also when I arrive at a lake I like to walk around with my marker & deeper first before I decide where to fish.

The chub vantage is what I use and it's a good bit of kit and a decent price too. Has plenty of room for landing nets and weigh slings etc in the side pockets too.

Have you considered getting a 3 rod one and using sleeves for the spod and marker, assuming thatís your setup?

Unless you get a 3 up 2 down a 5 rod with big pits is a right pain in the backside, the 3 plus 2 being not much better IMO. You might not even need spod and marker all the time so you are carting all that around for nothing. I have a 3 rod and the spod/marker (same rod) in a sleeve, just find it much more flexible.

I have the Daiwa Infinity 6 rod holdal.( 6 made up AND 3 knocked down ).
Inc one full length zipped pocket and one half.
With rain cover. ..... ballpark figure now £100

The rods top and tail.

Does what is says on the bag !!!

Be careful , as they also do one called a 6 rod , but it is actually a 3+3.
