Stabilised baits are exactly the same recipe as the freezer baits but are dried in a humidifier to lower the moisture content. Will last for up to three weeks.

BigCarp do shelf life boilies and stabilized ones, does someone know the difference?
How long would stabilized boilies last without freezing?

I started using John's bait (Big Carp) this season after meeting him on the bank. We had a long chat and it was obvious that he had a vast depth of knowledge in what makes a great bait, so I was very keen to try his bait for myself and ordered the Krill as soon as I had room in the freezer. I started using it in the Spring on a low stocked local big pit and, after baiting up for a few trips, caught pretty much from start. The river seaason opened and I was keen to see how it would perform. Although the conditions have been far from ideal, the reponse to the bait has been encouraging, with a regularly baited spot recently producing some stunning fish. The bait is rolled to order and I would recommend giving it a try.

His bait is awesome. Had some really great results on the fruit bomb salmon and would recommend. John knows his stuff when it comes to bait and as mentioned previously he wouldn't put his name to rubbish. Use with confidence!

Spoke to John a few years back, nice bloke and very interesting. Enjoyed the carp cast. I used his plum flavour in my own base mixes on a new water years ago which had two lakes and in the first session on one lake I had the biggie out, on the other lake it took 2 months. Seems to tie in with what he mentioned on the carp cast. Seriously tempted to get the 10kg deal from John L website when my current stock of bait runs out. John L and John B a couple of years ago had a small outlet on the Slough Trading estate, not sure if it still running from there as well as Wargrave.

Agreed. That carp cast is well worth listening too. Like John Bakers stuff, top quality products with no bull****.

John is a decent bloke who wouldn't put his name to rubbish. Don't be fooled by the 'euro boilie' steroetype just because he sells his bait abroad.

His salmon and plum is based on the excellent alar salar/plum and bio shellfish combo a bait I did really well on many years ago.

His krill as I understand it is based on the bio shellfish mix and was previously sold under the lone angler banner as krill and crustacean mix or something like that.

Anything that John baker is involved in will work and be of the highest quality, I know for a fact he has refused to supply some third parties with mixes as they wanted them cut to increase profit margins.

JL did a podcast previously on Jamie clossicks show and came across very well and knowledgeable. It kaybe worth digging out.
