Do you mean like posting a thread in General Discussion that should be in Feedback???

Don't worry I moved it for you
Forum grows and shrinks has done many times before.
People come and go as they have done many times before

It's only a forum

i much prefer a forum as it becomes a reference point where information can build up and be there for everyone to share, whereas facebook is too disposable and content is soon lost.

its tedious when there is half a dozen 'what line' threads every 24 hours and no one can be arsed to read whats gone before.

if only there was an easy option to post pictures...

I'm a bit confused so far (not hard 😂 poncing info, isn't that what social media is about. I see it as the modern age and those of us above a certain agree to accept it, if you don't what's the point complaining, don't go on forums, not hard is it

I've tried other forums and facebook and can't get on with them.
This forum certainly isn't perfect but if you stick with it then there's still some fun to be had
Notice the word 'fun' that's because I come on here mainly for entertainment rather solely to ponce information, I use a laptop to access this site and rely on the 'Read Next button' to skip through the crap To me the invention of smartphones has diluted many websites because for some (not all) either it's too difficult or they can't be bothered to enrich they posts with any worthwhile content and end up mostly take and rarely any give

No. In a word. Too many of us (on the site) are lifelong anglers who have different ideals to the modern 'catch at all cost' anglers! I get what you mean though, a blank is a failure in many people's eyes. A blank means a lesson to me, and if nothing else a break from life.

Are we seeing the death of what was a great site? People posting any where they like and they just do need read the rules and stuff any more. Shame facebook and the korda'ites/na*****s have kill the passion in our sport. Its no longer fishing/angling its now catching at all cost.
