Hi Jack yes it'd be better to either PM, contact me via messenger or our Facebook page.
Sorry if this is looking like an advertorial mods.

Sorry I didn't reply to this thread earlier in the year.
I removed the Facebook page (Halcyon Pool Fishery) for a while because I'd decided to pretty much take a year out from having members, but it's back up if anyone is interested.

I was a member of this water in 2010 ish. Was ok then and the bailiff at the time Mark was a good bloke but it started to get quite busy with a few trappy Essex knobbers taking liberties - one tried telling me I cant cast 40 yards in front of my swim as I was over his line which he had cast across half the pit! The fishing on offer was not better than a half decent club water at the time with fish only scraping 30lb and average size being mid double. So once the peace and quiet went that was enough for me to drop the ticket. The ticket price has certainly gone up massively so there must be demand for it and it may have resolved it's teething problems as it was quite a new syndicate (more like expensive club) ticket at the time.

I just saw its not there anymore myself - sure there is a good reason.

Probably too 'known & popular now!
Maybe he had too many PM's, phone calls and emails from people asking to join he took it off the public domain

Andys water is Halcyon Pool - you can check it on facebook, lovely little lake and knowing Andy - he'll like it quiet on his lake!

There are other quiet ones - you just need to know the right people - so keep digging.

In a similar position to you, back fishing again after 5 years out and looking at syndicates for next year myself.

Here are a few I have found in my search
Carpers Paradise - Willow Tree Fishery
Carpers Paradise - Clearwater Syndicate
Don't know much about these two tbh but will be doing some more research on them.

Essex Carp Syndicates
I'd expect their lakes to be quite busy at weekends. Got my name down for The Sanctuary and The Mill. Some nice fish and well run by all accounts.

Lily Fisheries
I fished Cowlands a few years back, wish I had kept my ticket now Tickets can only be obtained now by moving from another lake within their portfolio (Lavers for example), although I'd expect to only go on a list for that.
Don't know much about Lavers, but there are some nice fish in there going by the gallery.
Their Cambridge Fens waters look nice but a bit out the way for me.

Stanford Hall Fisheries
Run by the same people as Lilly Fisheries (I think). Again somewhere I will take a look at later on (Big Lake)

Never been able to find out much about Essexandy's water, although I'd like to know more so can't give you any info there apart from it's in Boreham. I'm sure if you pm'd him he'd give you all the info you need.

Good luck in your quest to find an Essex Syndicate that isn't packed at weekends
