As some of you know, I'm involved with a set of lakes in Cambridgeshire.

We have 2 lakes, one is 15 acres and has 18 swims (most are double size) and the other is 5 acres and has 7 swims.

The stock is still pretty much unknown in both lakes, but they have been caught to early 30's last year.

The date is Friday 27th to Sunday 29th of April.

The cost will be £50, we will be doing a bbq on the Saturday (which will come out of the £50) and the rest will be going to Children with Cancer UK

We have 25 spots to fill.

Any questions feel free to ask

Some far:

2. Blondini (paid)
3. Shepz (Paid)
4. Boycie (Paid)
5. Codey (Paid)
6. Mark (paid)
7. IP100 (paid)

Worth getting a soaking for. Could you not have split the donation with a charity for anglers with dwarfism? I swear Josh shrunk in all that rain & he can't really afford to lose any more height.

I feel bad for Tinofmaggotts, so I've refunded him his donation to cover his fuel

Sounds like you had a great time.... all ****ing four of you .. even Pete did the Vince as soon as he realised it was going to be more like a seance than a ****ing social.
Still never mind, I am pleased to say that I will be avaliable for the next event and will therefore boost the attendance tenfold and help to raise some serious money for a very worthy cause. 🤓

I would never do such a thing, Scott did it all, I even tried to persuade him not to!

Just like Scott blamed poor old nick for trashing my van.

Charity social synopsis

First off thanks to Scott for letting me come down to fish at short notice, the lakes are right up my street big windswept gravel pits . Bonus being able to park next to your swim yes weather wasnít great but hey ho at least the beer stayed cold 👍 every cloud hey.

It was great to meet all the lads all seem a nice bunch and thanks to mart the chef he had two cadacs on the go at once it looked like you were playing the bongos mate.

A five hour round trip but was worth it to get involved with a charity close to my heart.

Now the bad points.........

The postcode wasnít. KN0 0BB
It wasnít fancy dress after all
I had to fish no carp bay that I think had been prebaited with palmolive soap
Friday night I had my crate of beer demolished and swim throughly trashed
O and had my marker sticks mysteriously moved so my next cast instead of hitting the far margin at 54 yards I overshot straight in the brambles nice....

Seriously though had a great time proper good banter Friday night especially, Iím glad I made the effort to come .
So cheers lads

P.s
It was either Scott or josh that moved my sticks wider watch out they work as a team , distraction tactics 🤬
