Just a thought guys and a very economical idea .

Hair grips come in different sizes/lengths slip one onto your swivel or split ring attached to it and bend grip to just past 90 degrees then snip , your choice which side , with cutters or hold and wiggle until grip breaks . Drill through your chosen hook bait and simply pass remaining arm through it and for extra security using pointed pliers bend over once through to secure your hook bait or sharpen the end and use as a pin , pushing through . My pins snap if I try to reuse them once bent so new one each time , the only downfall I've found so far but worth it knowing my bait is secure .

Or taking a length of thick mono , drill through chosen hook bait , then pass one end of mono through swivel or split ring as above and then push both ends of mono through hook bait and blob once you have positioned your hook bait to your preferred length . This way you can change hook bait sizes and any hook separation to your choice if required . The mono can also have a simple knot tied in to help secure first boilie if using a snowman rig . Don't forget your windproof lighter and better to have a spare too .

LT .

Deception angling do bait screws with a swivel work really well only thing is some have the swivel pushed in to far so don't spin but I'd say it was only a couple per pack.

Hehe, yup nice stuff, but also extra rings and eyes. Just a micro swivel with 1 eye on the one side, and a metal screw with the eye in the barrel and just the screw coming out on the other side of the barrel, would be my ideal, easy, tangle and fuzz free bit of kit. For now i just settle on a simple micro siwel and floss i guess.

Ghe, i see, close but not quite there. But the swivel bait screws don't look bad, might give them a go although there are 2 rings too much.

Always something to whine:P
