In reply to Post #20 That looks terrible! Loads of metal and zero gape, would no be confident using that, it goes against everything I’ve learnt over the years.

ive been using them since they came out.. for bottom baits (wafters) i basically no knot the hook on to braid with a micro bait swivel and one of the stoppers above that. no need for kickers or sleeving. the hook holds are incredible. i was a little off put by the small gap between point and eye but they do the job just fine.. awesome hook.
** hard to sharpen as the file hits the eye**

Any long term reviews of these hooks? Just found a pack in my tackle box and don’t think I’ve ever tried one🤷♂️ Can’t think why

In reply to Post #24 thanks mate

In reply to Post #20 what swivels are you using on that rig Ken?
In reply to Post #21 Use a big hook.
In reply to Post #20 That rig looks snazzy with the knots instead of beads Ken, but the gape of the hook looks really closed off with the aggressive bend towards the eye?

They are a superb hook for the 360...
In reply to Post #1 I like the look of them, but apart from a 360, I can't see when id use them.
In reply to Post #17 They certainly look aggressive from the images.
In reply to Post #12 Just as sharp as the muggas.
Had a good look at these at the Brentwood show. For me they are too aggressive in terms of the bend near the eye. IMO it closes the gape too far. To be fair the guys were saying that the bend is to remove the need for a kicker. That makes sense to a point, but these aren't for me.

In reply to Post #15 Not allowed at White Cottage Joe.
Classed as a nailer.
In reply to Post #14 Fancy packet mate. You’ve got them confused with the new nash hooks
Are they actually £2.50 each or is it just a fancy packet with two at the front and 8 more behind?!
In reply to Post #12 Definitely as sharp as the muggers 👍🏻
In reply to Post #1 I like the look but how sharp are they?
Need to master the sharpening skill. The ones I get from j precision points are fantastic
They are perfect for the 360 in size 4 or 6.

In reply to Post #9 This might be a different video than the one you've seen from Gardner Joe......
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcuqeW0hwa0
Interested in the CVR (or CRV) whatever it's called (I don't even think the Geezer from Gardner is sure lol!).
Looks like they would negate the need for a hook aligner.
Would they be classed as a "nailer" though????

In reply to Post #8 Video I’ve seen he doesn’t mention the Ronnie rig once
Aren't the specifically designed for the Ronnie rig? That's what I got from the video. Obviously can be applied elsewhere but they are a Ronnie hook.

In reply to Post #6 Bit odd...Why not use them in the uk
I’ve just bought some to use in France this May. I usually a long shank mugga so gonna try these as well. There’s a YouTube video about them
In reply to Post #4 Yeah their for sale on ebay
Are they available yet? Can't seem to find any
They look super aggressive, the eye does look to far bent over reducing the gape to my untrained eye. I'm sure plenty of field testing has been done and results good enough to allow full on release to the public, in my mind however once the point is in following a pick up surely unless the eye is outside the fish's mouth it will be digging into the internal mouth flesh.....

They look a bit fierce to me
Anyone ordered any? Be interesting to hear what people think. I use muggas for a lot of my fishing and think Gardner hooks are the best out there so might have to give them a go
