I take it you have been to the lake before Martin?
Blank there quite frequently

You can get away with sticks on alot of the swims.
Failing that i will put a sod pod in the car if you need one
+ i think i have a spare set of stage stands

Ian, some of the swims will require pod/stage stands as they have wooden stands but not all of them so I wouldn't worry if you don't have one already, there are ways round it even on some that do. I'd say it's 2/3 acres maybe....someone may be able to correct me on that. The pegs are quite close together which was a nightmare when I last went as they were all taken!!! Saying that, everyone was fishing close in which seems to be the norm on there.

I take it you have been to the lake before Martin? The site doesn't have a great deal of info. How big is it? What are the banks like, do I need to buy a pod or will I get sticks in?

I think you will find Pete is a reformed character now, proper on the straight and narrow, he has an allotment from which he produces all sorts of fresh goods which he cooks and eats and looks really healthy for it.

In fact he is becoming so proficient at the growing of said produce that he is becoming a bit of a legend around his manor and the locals even call him " Pete the cabbage "
