Just a figure of 8 for the boom to the swivel on the chod. However, try a perfection loop knot as I think that sits better.

I do like to use a loop knot to the swivel though as I think it gives it more movement. Some people just use a grinner but I prefer a loop.

I have used both Trick link 0.45 and iq2 0.40. Trick link feels a bit like a thicker version of gr60 and not quite as springy as iq2. I think Trick link tends to kick out to one side if used with a knotless knot, so I prefer it with a whipping knot (probably more to do with my ocd than how effective the rig is). Iq2 seems to be easier to get aligned with the shank of the hook. Both great materials - if I had to choose just one of them, then it would be iq2.

How do people find this as oppose to fluro i.e iq2 and ghost e.t.c? thanks
