Cheers for all the travel info guys, sounds like germany/Austria is probably the best route then... way cheaper on tolls & no major queuing at the tunnels.
So just to be clear, we’re the tolls just standard pay as you go that route or was it the sticker in the window type?

Yes was hard on my own.
Would be a lovely route with 2 and a quick van as the German roads were mad lol

Hi all drove back yesterday
Left lake at 8am and got to ferry at 1am
I went via Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and France
Total toll cost 20 Euro
Miles 825
That route could be done a lot quicker if 2 drivers as I was on my own and only cruised at 70 on motorway.
I also encountered delays with rock fall, crash and the German police pulling me over.
One tip us make sure you get to Austria in daylight as roads are a bit hairy but stunning views

I’m going to return the Austria route so will let you know what it’s like
There are a few tolls in Austria but only about 8 euros and says only 1 hour longer

Be lucky if you can get on la vigne feuillet as she dont like English booking, but if you have any luck and it’s in a school holiday I’m up for it.
Will send you name of the other Italian lake.

I think the Switzerland route was about 100€ but the traffic is mental, I think if I ever went back I would go the Germany/Austria route but do a b&b half way across, it’s about 3hrs longer drive but no tolls

I knew them fish were holding in front of 14 mate so i’m Not surprised they’ve had 30 fish, that guy in there last week just didn’t get his tactics right, hope the move to 22 pays off for you, I fancy you bagging a lump from there mate 👍🏻

Did you manage to find anything out regarding booking la vigne feuillete? I wanna fish this place this year if I can find out how to book

Hi Darren I got peg 13, nothing for 2 nights so moved to 22
Peg 14 are on about 30 fish so far with bait boat
Peg 7 are have a lot of fish and have the whole of that end of the lake covered using rowing boa
Peg 4 has had a few
That about all I know.
Tonight will be my last night. And sadly doubt I will return as I think 550 is too much
Was looking forward to this trip following a great one end of may but it has bin difficult..... but hey that’s fishing.

Yes I was hit with the extra €150 price myself mate, if I’m honest I dont really think the facilities warrant it as they are ridiculously basic. I was more than a little surprised to see the new swim 7 being built yet swims 16/17 & particularly 15 are so treacherous.......
I think the price of the tolls will probably stop me going that route tbh, can I ask what the price was roughly to go the Swedish way?

It might be slightly cheaper because you can buy a return ticket through mont blonc, but yes it will be nearly 180€. Each way, and on top of that there is a price increase to fish the lake of 150€ a week! Making this adventure rather pricey, I would say inc bait and fuel, crossing etc £1200+

With regards to the travel it does sound crazy how these tunnels are regulated, are you saying that the mont blonc route is 180 each way mate?

Thanks 👍🏻 Was a tough week for all on the lake, 17/16 was as you say bagging on the smaller fish with the odd 50,,, rest of the lake was pinching odd bite here and there, the drive there was a nightmare as we went through Switzerland, they traffic control all the tunnels, it’s crazy, However on the way home we took the mont blonc tunnel to Geneva and that was much better route, we made it back to calais in 12 1/2 hrs and we stopped for lunch, only downside was the toll costs 180€ 😩
