Hi guys,

Me and a mate are supposed to be fishing Parco del Brenta this summer... yeah, we still have some hope.
We have pegs 11 and 12, can anyone provide any indication regarding those two spots? Are they decent? Any "hotspots" per say? We've never fished there so any information is extremely appreciated!

Thank you!

Forgot to say. Peg 13 (unlucky for some!!).

Anyone fished it? So any tips for that swim or just general for the lake.

Have watched all videos on YouTube and there is a lot of differing techniques (Solid PVA bags, method, all boilie) with mixed results, but I suppose that’s fishing!

Hi All.

Thanks for great feedback. Good to know there are local shops/resturants. Also the frozen water sound a god send. Can use them as the ice packs to keep everything else cold and just replenish when the thaw out.

Thanks Chunkiesgreat.

Good idea about 2 boxes (less time of it being opened and letting cold out). Will start looking for decent cool boxes.

Was a god send when I was out there last summer. Was the hottest consistent weather I’ve ever experienced. Even the locals were saying it was unusually hot. The humidity was hard to handle.

Hi mate,
No need to worry about food. There are two supermarkets 10 minutes drive from the lake (one small, one big). You can also order a pizza from a lovely small local restaurant for just a few euros. Just let Antonio or a bailiff know what time and it will be waiting for you at the lodge.
Antonio also keeps his freezer stocked up with water, fizzy drinks and ice cream... I strongly recommend the frozen water at that time of year.

What peg are you in?

sounds a great trip mate. Get a good cool box. use the search as there is a topic on them somewhere. Some of the boxes will keep Ice as Ice for days on end. just don't keep opening it up and let the cold escape.

I would get 2 boxes though one for food and one for drinks. But depending on space and budgets its up to you. I take it you are driving down there?

take some things already frozen for the first couple of days. Then when you pop out to the shops get some ice to keep it topped up and cool.

That will sort you out for a week.

Hi all.
Slight change of subject. Going in June without food package. First time on long foreign session. Was wondering what you did for food. Apparently there are shops/takeaways locally. Also weather can get very hot so how do you keep things (drinks, food, etc) cold for any length of time.
Thanks

I heard that someone smashed swim 14 around that time, I’m guessing that was you? Epic session mate, the stuff of dreams!

Fished there first week in June and rinsed it,I had over 100 fish out to high 60s and plenty of big back up fish, lads fishing opposite me struggled despite there baits landing close to mine.Get your tactics right and you won’t go wrong ,theirs a massive head of big carp swimming around in Parco that’s for sure.

Was out at Parco back at the beginning of may, followed on from the free spirit lads.
They had a really tough week symion bond said it was the worst week he had had in all his years there didn’t put us in the greatest of confident moods seeing as it was our first time.
Week started off slow and for may the weather was **** for first few days rain at 1 point for 24hrs solid.
But that said we end the week on near 50 fish between 3 of us peg 1 (double) and peg 22, 2 60lb 3 58/59lb there rest mainly between 35 and 50lb
A leather which I’m told are rare out
And the mandatory surgeons 4 up to 65lb
We knew 2 other guys that were fishing there and they had fish to 60lb as well
Also met 1 guy out here again fish to 60lb
Worked out a awesome week for us may well have been lucky but the fish were defiantly there to be seen both visually in the bay (peg22) and crashing evening onwards most days
Booked up again for next year
Hope this helps a little giving people an idea of the place

1 thing to note as of 2020 the prices for both drive and survive and full lake bookings are going up quite considerably

All in all though a very memorable trip

Tight lines all
