known as the grass swim, only allowed to fish it once during your stay and most anglers have it on their last day there. i only had red tails from there on my last day but lost something in the weedbed opposite so flipping huge, glock the man servant had to swim out to the other bank to help me, but the hook pulled....gutted.

Does anyone know what the score is with the arapima swim?
I have heard there is a swim that the arapima always knock about in and you only get 1 day there?

hi Robbo

we booked 5 full days and then half day either side so was 6 days fishing, we have got accommodation on the lake includes breakfast bait and all the tackle and transfers too and from airport I think we paid around 1050 pounds each.
they will look after you as they knocked loads off the online price.
I'm sure the price was around the 1050 mark.
I know there is a flight involved but it aint to bad for me as I now live in Australia but don't work out much more than France by the time you buys all your bait and end tackle

best way is to email Stuart at Gillhams and ask for a price specific to what you want .

taxi's are no problem too and from the lake, and cost about 10 each way regardless of how many are in the car. Many taxi's arrive back at the lakes at 7am, and blokes step out and go straight to the lake to start fishing after a night out at the ladyboy clubs.

Just seen the big fish off which was filmed at Gillhams.............
It looks absolutely awesome.
The guides dive in after the fish to make sure you are still in contact if it all locks up ! ! ! !

Almost saw Ali Hammidi Sh*t himself as the 130 lbs arapima started swimming around his feet trying to get away.

See if you can get the show on catch up tv ...... one or two good pointers on it both for bait
and tackle. Chickens hearts and fish heads.

Hammidi also rigged a slow sinking setup which he chucked out with a load of pellets and had an instant take,
