Steady on Gerry give them a chance fella! Ha

I've been made the uk rep for this company, a position I would not put my name to if I wasn't overseeing how it's being set up.
I'm having the same tents made up so no fear mate you'll have your nice tent...and boats wise I'll be ordering the best boats I can find aswell as top end motors etc etc

As for two boats per pair, that was not the norm with Marc's company and most are happy to share, but for you Gerry I'm sure they'll arrange your own boat..

Once I'm confident all the gear is in place and the guides know the areas to put clients on things should be rolling nicely, this I expect tho won't be till autum.

Marc was asked if he would be happy to join forces and refused, this is a great shane as I've said before the lake is big enough to have 10 company's operating let alone two! Greed and pride can be a dangerous thing....

However the set up with these guys having such a beautiful hotel literally on the waters edge with swimming pools, bar etc etc will make the whole experience even better than before.

No worries mate,

I'm planning another trip in November but want to speak to a few anglers fishing under the new regime between now and then.
I'm sure some of what's written on the website will be changed or altered according to their experiences, let's see.
Maybe it will be a seamless switch, in which case we will all be happy and ready to pay the pay to fish the stunning lake👍👍

totally agree If BOTH companies could split and share the lake I think that would be better for us punters

I've also been watching this location with interest over the past couple of years. And to be honest Sam's response sums it up and I wouldn't have blamed him if he had voiced his opinion more strongly.

With a water of this size, surely having more than one operator would be good for the customer and competition ? There is also the fact that in the past locals have harvested the fish for consumption and I know (no names mentioned) certain persons tried to do all they could to reduce this happening.

As said hopefully all parties that have an interest in this location (past and present) will understand that by working together in the future is the way to go....

EDIT One thing I noticed too !! it says a boat and sonar between two

this is something not acceptable to me as when we went we said we need a boat each and they just said yes of course
as picture the situation your pal is in the boat out in the lake depths a few hundred feet deep and 300 yards from the bank

gets in trouble your stuck on the bank unable to help him ?

Thanks Terry
What a shame they dont have the lovely cool tents I slept in last time ? a traditional bivvy would be a nightmare in that heat the lot we went with had all the right gear and was set up perfect loved the way you could move anytime and they would do it all for you hope these will get it right too

Hi mate,

Here's the new companies address, had some correspondence with them and they seem to be getting up to speed, not sure they are there just yet but pretty close.

i agree, and must admit i feel its pretty harsh to see a company thats been set up nicely, providing great fishing trips to so many, suddenly close down! i do feel for Marc in that sense, however having been there in the early days when he ruthlessly went out his way to close down the company I was working for, i cant help but feel karma has had its say....

All this could have been resolved years ago, if he'd excepted another company could also opperate on Bin El Ouidane, but greed got in the way as he wanted soul rights to the fishing, which on 15,000 acres is a hell of alot of water for one company to have rights over.....

Seems he got out bidded at the last minute, when he felt no one knew the lease was up for grabs again, and as the game goes, the highest bidder won.............

So the old company is back in the game again, i'll be heading out soon to check over hows its being set up, and hopefully they'll go onto to providing some great trips for those wishing to head out there..

THE LEASE WILL NEXT BE RENEWED IN 9 YEARS TIME

spoke with Anton recently and all he had to say was watch this space, had a few trips over there and loved it.
Was planning a couple of trips over later in the year but may delay booking anything till there's a bit of feedback that's from real people.
Cracking venue, and if you have not been keep it on your bucket list👍👍
