The pics have the look of colour enhancement but that's what advertisers do,its all about the product.
Generally speaking, bright sunlight and sunny, clear skies are rubbish for photography, hence the need for photoshopping pictures. Otherwise the pics come out flat and dull.
Still, can't knock paid for advertisers, it also helps with forum costs.

Fair enough Sam, as i say they were genuine questions.

I come on here primarily because of my love of carp angling, like many others. So, i appreciate the good things in the carp scene, whether that be the fish, the venue, or tackle etc.
So those are the things of real interest to me. I love the banter, and a giggle on here very much too.
I also try my best to help people out, iím sure a good few members would confirm this.

The arguing or politics is what happens on a lot of forums. I know this too well as i used run a couple.
You might see some stuff as nit picking, others may see it as something for discussion?
Like the Terry Hearn stuff, i have fished with, and know a lot of well known anglers, and most of them, i have respect for, as anglers, and people. I donít always agree with how they fish though, or some of their tactics. And they may think the same about me?

Thatís not nit picking, the respect is still there regardless. One of my sons works for me, he is very good at his job, and i get regular compliments about him and how he works. He and i both do a great job but, differently.
We sometimes mention certain things to each other about which way is best, or nit pick if you like?
We never argue about it though, as all said and done, we have our own ways, and they work for us.
Fishingsís the same isnít it?

So, i try and focus on the important things here, which are, just what i mentioned, the fish, photos etc, venues and info, and tackle.

Sometimes along the way, people will argue here but, the fact that this forum still ticks along nicely after all these years, after various menbers have come and gone, says a lot i think youíll agree?

You and i have had more than one or two ding dongs but, that doesnít mean i canít appreciate a great venue and great fish etc, iím really not that shallow.

I think the photos and fish at your place are superb, and, i often gaize and admire the photos in this thread. What genuine carp angler wouldnít?

As i said, just some genuine questions, out of interest.

Thatís all

Skear bud
I'm sorry that wasn't entirely directed at you it's previous comments that I've read that were written purely to sound negative I understand yours was most likely a genuine question and fair play, I just answered it as I see it.

As for sensitive types, lol maybe I am or maybe I'm just overly passionate about topics I feel strongly about, as a result I realise the forum isn't for me these days, hence why I try to stay off here but on a thread like this that concerns BEO occasionally I'll post when I feel I should..

I'm the meantime I'll leave the forum to get on with it......

To be honest, i wasnít having a dig, or nit picking, i was asking genuine questions.

I think the trouble with this forum, if there is any, is oversensitive types, getting touchy about anything they see questioned.

For what itís worth, i think the majority of the fish pics posted from your place are lovely, the fish are mostly lookers, one or two munters, but thatís to be expected, you get that anywhere.

Anyway, just genuine questions, sorry you lost your temper (again) 68 FA4 B94 AD28 4156 B9 A6 4 B5 CF7636800

All this concern for filtered images is amusing?
most of what you see today in film, tv, press, fashion, tourism, sport, art infact just about anything that is used commercially online or in print would have gone through a digital editing process...

Believe it or not, on BEO the sky often is that blue! The rich bright red clay ground really can look that red! And the water is actually that turquoise......the sun does actually shine and the fish do tend to look golden lol

Some Photos we are sent are edited to simply sharpen the structure, and if too bright due to the sun that maybe edited slightly to focus more on the fish, nothing new in that lads, I can assure you every photo you see these days of carp used to sell products or used in any commercial way would have had some digital enhancement, please there is nothing new or wrong in that...

That's the world we live in today, let's get on with it, whether you guys on here would edit a photo or not.

Similar to the lovely Terry Hearn video thread, there's way too much nitpicking on this forum, people looking for the smallest of things to pick away at, which is a great shame..

Be lucky all and once again Terry, Dean Ralph etc
Lovely to get to know a few of you on BEO and well done to you all
