I do Similar ,does seem to help
I found it can be a bit low at times otherwise
So I now set the bed up put my bag at the back and adjust the brolly to suit
So my head does nt touch the roof
Doing it this way the bed does nt touch the sides causing damp ingress either
Also easier to level the bed up this way
I do have the skull cap fitted Which certainly helps coverage from the elements though

The thing is it depends what bed you have, and also how you set the brolly up. The height can be adjusted a lot with the tension strap. On my own I keep it quite tight, therefore making the top higher, when I have taken my godson I've lowered it down to the make the footprint bigger

Has anyone used a Trakker Levelite Longback Chair under a Tempest brolly. I wouldn’t mind getting one of these but I think it might be too high.

I've got the brolly and a flat 6 bedchair. I'm 5'10 and my head touches the roof when I'm sat across the bedchair.

If you are talking about the brolly then it's ok if on a level bit of bank where you don't have to extend the bedchair legs at the front, other than that I'd say the headroom isn't great when using a bedchair buddy on a sloping bank.

I have a trakker levelite and tempest air, im 5 10 and haven't hit my head ive never looked to see how close it is though. I also dont put the bedchair right to the back and keep my quiver spare rods etc behind the bedchair whether this helps or not i dont know.

There's plenty of headroom mate, no need to push your bed right to the back either as there is loads of coverage. My mate who is over 6 foot uses one with no problems. The height is adjustable easily enough using the tension strap

I am 5ft 8, have a fox rx2 bedchair and sat on the bedchair buddy with the bedchair pushed right back my head hits the roof. If you have a low bedchair like a ss3 / 4 etc ( I class the fox one a medium height one) then you may well be ok..

Edit - I have the tempest brolley and is with the tension strap clicked in
