Yeah the Interfederal jobbie covers most departments....with a few exceptions

As for the association, wherever you choose to fish would be the most appropriate...although a lot of French anglers pick associations that encourage carp angling and open up night fishing areas located away from there homes rather than hand there money over to trout and pike/zander anglers, who generally just stock fish for their fridges rather than spare any change for carp anglers.

If there is a lot of public water open for night fishing where you are heading, get a permit from the area, at least some of your money will get back into carp fishing that way.

Hope you have a great time!

I am pretty sure that the holiday permit (one week only in most cases) is department specific.

I live much further south so can't help with the river itself...have a good time in any case.

Hi people!!

Myself and a friend are off the the soane in a couple of weeks Burgandy area. I am struggling to find information about rules and night fishing areas in english ! Also i have found the website which you can purchase a french licence but am confused to as whether i can only fish one area with a holiday permit or several? Has any one had any experiance with this? Anyone fished it for carp in june before i done sept in 2005 and it was fine!!
Any help would be appreciated

Cheers!!!
Remi
