In reply to Post #57 thinking of doing a session here in a few weeks, when I walked around 4/5 years ago there was not many pegs which you could bivvy up on, how is that looking nowadays?

In reply to Post #56 Not fished there for a couple of years now, but personally found the dam wall best to fish from - bit of a pain to get a bivvy up but may have changed since - we're just putting wooden stages down the last time I went

In reply to Post #54 other than the dam wall those were the only pegs free. we were hoping to be there for 11ambut ended up hitting that traffic on the M6.

In reply to Post #53 if you fish the left hand one of those swims you need to wade out as far as you can....you can get out 70/80 yrd..its very shallow against the island

In reply to Post #53 I have seen a few caught from there, mainly cats get round by that sunken tree but also the odd carp, to be honest you did not fish the best area, but definately the shortest walk lol.
If your ever down again, let me know and i will point you into some decent swims.
