For the last couple of years I've been using the Chub super Cyfish, and for a one man bivvy its massive! And once it's up it's bomb proof... does come with a down side and it's heavy!!

But for the price you could pick something up cheaper on e-bay or alternative site?

similar, yes

Dont be fooled by Carp Zone prices, their stuff is well made

i have a number of bits of their kit and it is good

I must qualify this with the fact i dont have one of their bivvies, i use a Dave Lane sti brolly (JRC)

But a mate of mine has one, hence i know you can squeeeeeze two normal bedchairs in coz he has taken his daughter along once or twice.

Also a lad on hear bought one Josh Brasieer, he put a review on them in the review section, he likes em.

TimB - The carp zone one looks quite good, fairly cheap and can be used as a day shelter too which i like the idea of.

This seems a bit like the Trakker SLX V2? Do you think they are quite similar?

check out the wychwood flexi 4 rib bivvy, its a 1.5man bivvy, has done me well for a few years now and has plenty of room for 1 person, i can actually fit 2 bedchairs in there and still have enough room for all the luggage

A jrc contact is worth a look.plenty of room when i go on my own,and when the mrs comes we can just about squeeze two bedchairs in.
They are quite light, easy and quick to put up and you have the option of getting the overwrap.you can pick them up 2nd hand for around £100 with the wrap.

Hi when I was looking for the same thing the Nash extreme one man seemed to fit the bill but I can't say if they are any good as I managed to get a secondhand full size pioneer that was also recommended

Looking for a large one man or small two man Bivvy.
The majority of the time i fish alone so only need a one man but the misses occasionally comes for the night and brings a sleeping bag or a chair.
So donít really need it too big as i will only need to get one bed chair in there and a small space for a normal chair or to squeeze in a sleeping bag on the floor next to the bed chair.

So any ideas that would suit the above would be good.

I currently just have a very cheap £60 Shakespeare 2 man Bivvy that is quite large and takes forever to put up with all the poles etc. So looking for something quick and simple and reasonably priced.

Is there such thing as a big one man Bivvy or what would you suggest?
