I Have mini pits paired with 2.75 Outkasts & they are cracking reels.
For heavier work I have a set of 3.25 ESP Snipers paired with Emblem Spods. I did try out a Crosscast X & would say that it is a good reel for the money - has the same features as the Windcast so not really sure why they are so much cheaper but one can ask the same question regarding the Windcast X & Z.

IMO the mini pits are the best of the 3 for shorter work - very smooth - a joy to use & always get great reviews.

The Emblem Spod is a known workhorse with high retrieval rate & a lot smoother than some high priced reels I have come across. I think a lot of people avoid it as a main reel simply because of the word "spod"

I would stretch my budget to buy one of these but if my budget was 80 I would have no hesitation in buying the Crosscast unless someone who has used one convinced me that there were better options at the same price. With QD, spare spool, a decent line clip & a reel that is not covered in plastic I think you are getting a fair bit fot your money.

Navi XTB's, Biomaster XTB's, Aerlex XTA's, Ultegra 5500 XTB. Choose the one to suit you. I personally have the Navi's, but the Aerlex are quality as are the rest.

best advice would be to not bother and buy a proper reel by shimmano

Not used that specific reel but I've used the Linear S, Windcast Z and Basia. All very good, can't fault them sure the Crosscast will be good for the money.

Jus looking around for new reels. Anyone got any good or bad reviews about these reels?

Found some at 89.99 is that the best price expected to pay for them?

If buying them in group of 3 could I get better price

Any help would be appreciated
