Andy was one of the guys who had to drop out Rupert ,it was terry gilbert with a pb of 43.10 and me who had the 45 pb plus that cracking 39.2 common .

We had a great week and had some lovely fish thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back especially for a chance at the big one we were watching in the corner .

When the smallest of the 4 fish in the swim takes the bait and its a common of that size it gives you an idea of the quality of fish in the complex .

thanks for you invaluable info and help Rupert

keeping the kitchen open and providing the bar for any mon/wed/sat/sun footy that you guys maybe interested in watching?

Being a Spurs fan Ru, I am surprised you have forgotten that there is footy on a Thursday as well

Heron is pretty weedy and although worse than the past 2 seasons, it's nowhere near as bad as it was in the earlier days, i.e pre 2009!

A boat is handy but not essential, at a guess, at least 85% of every swim is fishable, with issues being limited to pegs 6-8 and 10-12

WildBoar is still fishing well, the best approach at present is to fish fruity/sweet boilies over a bed of particle. Mainline's Sweet pineapple or Essential IB seem to be doing the trick right now. Particle wise, Hemp and Corn always produce, although Pigeon conditioner aka Red Band is a cheaper alternative and the fish seem to like the Aniseed content?!

The Facebook page is still alive and kicking guys, had a little sabbatical for a week or so as we had probs with the internet after a massive hailstorm caused a 'few problems' in the local area!!

Back to normal now though

Chesties would be an advantage, wellies will suffice in certain areas, although it shouldn't be necessary to enter the lake at all?!

Hi,

Tips on fishing Fox in November are : That it will cost you 750 as Abbey is trialling a winter syndicate this season! The price entails full access to ALL the lakes on the complex at any time from 16th Nov through until the 16th March, including for the first time, February! The clubhouse will operate extended hours and we'll also be keeping the kitchen open and providing the bar for any mon/wed/sat/sun footy that you guys maybe interested in watching? This opportunity is available to just 35 spaces and there are now only about 6 spots left for the rota..

Kind regards,

Ru
