The island area would not be my choice

Not the best pegs . Better fishing middle of natural bank or follow wind . Both bays fish well depending on wind direction. 4th swim to right as drive in on natural bank. First big double is a fier

i'd be suprised if oxlease was stitched up midweek mate.you can usually get on most of the lakes even in summer although i haven't been for a while.
we're off down there 2nd week of april for a week,i'd like to get on manor but oxlease seems to be the more prductive at the moment,we'll have to see nearer the time.
a quick call to roy the day before should give us all the info we need.
will post something when we get back which should be before you go,might be able to shed a bit of light on how its fishing for you.

Thanks mate had a look, seems to be kicking off at the mo, which is good to see, hope to fish oxlease, but there is 3 of us going, and with arriving on the wednesday am a bit worried about getting decent pegs and close to each other, fancy either side of the island, but know the chances are very slim as these are probly the first pegs to go,anyone know of any other productive pegs, and the pegs to avoid?

Thats why im trying to get as much info as I can about oxlease and b1,so if oxlease is stitched up,maybe b1 wont be,sort of a back up plan, but at the end of the day its the luck of the draw.

Thanks to all that have posted

thats sounds about right bish would say thow if the weather does warm up on b1 the end with the underwater iland is verry weedy and you sometimes find them holding up in that might be worth wetting a line down there mate

hi
both lakes can get busy but you can always find a swim, as you are going down on wednesday there should be a few more swims free. b1 try the zigs over a sloppy spod mix.
if there is alot pressure the fish move to the middle so may need to bring your big pits. weed could be a problem and if it is solid bags work well small hook baits.

oxlease fish move with the wind and tend to get caught on the gravel which there is alot of so should find a spot, weed is not as bad as some lakes at linear.

be mobile you can move between all the lakes on the same ticket and as you are down for 5/6 days fish both lakes

bish
