Myself and two friends fished a 24hr session at gyrn a couple of weeks ago. The weed at pegs 6 and 7 was unreal, considering we had fished it only a few weeks prior to this and there was no weed whatsoever. All the fish were at the very top of the lake basking in the sun (or stuck in the weed) and showed no intrest in taking a bait.anytime of the day. I am booked on in 2 weeks time but this time fishing of the dam wall (pegs 1,2,3) hopefully the weed hasn't made it down to there yet, if so at £25 a session its getting far too expensive for the quality of fishing you get and the lack of work going into removing the weed.

this is the last time i will reply to anything from sharper carper,if he would like to come and fish gyrn and see whats going on here then you can if not then stop going on about whats in the lakes and whats not

Why should I pay for something before I know what I am paying for??

I am not going to let this lie. You say that the future is looking bright for Gyrn and that this is the start of a new era, well if thats the case then you need to answer these questions about the fish.

If this fish does exist then why would you not publish the pictures either on your website or on this forum?

You say that when you netted the lake there was the 32lb Mirror, a Common of 28lb and then 300 fish in the15-19lb bracket. If these fish dont exist then this is FALSE ADVERTISING and you are breaking the law.

Why is it fair to take money from people to fish for something that they are never going to catch because it doesn't exist?

The fact that you have taken an aggressive and defensive attitude towards me suggests that you are hiding the truth? What have I done other than ask to see the fish you claim to have?

I don't understand why the new gyrn manager doesn't just put the pictures up and prove us wrong!! not replying to this thread at all makes his position worse surely?
or is there really a thirty in there
his credibility is teetering on the very edge of a precipice.......oh no its fell!!

Right, for anyone interested have a look at these pictures of fish from Gyrn. The thing worth noting is the names of the anglers and the 'weights' of the fish.

Make your own minds up
