i used to be a manager of a tackle shop and me an Alan (owner of Kent Particles) used to do a bit of business together. I always found that he was a nice bloke n he had a sensible business mind, which seemed to be a rarity in the trade when I was involved.
Never had any problems with his stuff, both for my personal use and for stock purposes.
Kent Particles would always be my choice of bait supplier, even since he has moved away from my area.

In reply to Post #31 I have only ever place 1 order with Kent, and that will be the only one i will ever place.
I oredred some iteas from kent, arrange for delivery on a set date as i was going fishing the next day (after delivery) i told Kent this as well, and was told all was in stock, and would be delivered as agreed. I even paid extra, as i couldn't find them in stock anywhere else. Kent was the only company that told me they could meet my delivery date.
Anyway, at 16:00 on the agreed delivery date, nothing had turned up, so i phoned up to find out what was happening, i was told they were waiting on stock, which should be with them the next day, even though they confirm to me that they had the stock in when i ordered.
So i cancelled the order, got the items from else where, and will not order from them again

In reply to Post #20 Baits can be different coloured due to rolling by hand or by machine.
Hand rolled tend to be darker than by machine, although I always found that airdrying the bait lightened them a bit.

In reply to Post #28 Had my delivery this morning . I think i expect them to always look the same as the ones from the shop but the cell are as dark as the NRG but they have been air dried. They smell ok and the dips seem okay. All in all i dont think they are all that bad

In reply to Post #27 i had 10kg of cell boillies off them recently and they were not the best to say the least. The smell of them wasnt as strong as normal shop brought ones think they were scrimping on the amount of cell flavourings they put in the boillies also the qualty of the boillies was poor think they used sweepings off the floor because there was a lot of crap in the boillies and Also a lot of egg shell to. Also on the third day of using them they had gone off they floated when you put them in the water very poor boillies in my experiance. Wont be getting them from there again. The cell dip and pop ups were ok though

In reply to Post #23 Hi Mark, yes a burco is an ideal way to prepare large quantitys of particles but for smaller quantitys, say a kilo of tigers for example, a good size saucepan will do just as well.

In reply to Post #22 its a case of me never preparing them before? So is it the case that I could prepare all particles in one of burcos? Mark

In reply to Post #21 Hi, i personally prefer to prepare my own particles, but if i did not i would not hesitate to use ccmoores range of prepared particles, my friends have used most the range and they all look to be of good quality
and if you are allowed to use tigers on the waters you fish the steeped black tigers will give you edge

In reply to Post #19 a little darker than shop bought but they are air dried
from my experience, baits tend to get lighter in colour when air dried, not darker. any way, you dont have to try and convince anyone but yourself mate, if your happy with them, thats great. many people, myself included wont ever use their stuff, its very difficult to repair a bad reputation.

My mate had 10kg of cell delivered to them yesterday and he said they were fine. a little darker than shop bought but they are air dried with fans so im guessing thats why

In reply to Post #11 10kg of air dried boilies weigh about 8kg although the number of boilies are exactly the same as 10kg fresh so how on earth can they be saying you get 10kg in weight of air dried boilies. Either they are being very generous and giving you an extra 2kg or they are putting a weight enhancer in the base mix (limestone flour) to make the boilies weigh more. I suspect it is the latter

In reply to Post #11 fair do's. im sure for the price you have paid you could have got it direct from mainline through any of their stockists. i dont have any trust what so ever in kent particles. my mate got some 24mm mainline baits off them and they floated..............most probably because they cut the mix with something

In reply to Post #10 Kent particles send the weight you ordered ie after air drying will be what you get. It is ok oedering from daz if we want to use vision bait boilies but as we wanted mainline that was not an option

In reply to Post #9 £370 for 40kg should have given Das a ring at Vision.......would have got a lot more bait for your money and Das always sends a full 40kg once air dried, i wouldnt mind betting kent particles dont, i bet you get around 35kg of finished air dried boilies.

In reply to Post #2 Strange about that B5 smell. My mate ordered some from them recently. I had a sniff of it, had a poo/sour smell to it. The pop-ups were a different color and did not match the boilies. I do use them and have caught well. However now i am slightly worried of the quality between batches.
