THE LEGAL STUFF
Please note that using the Classified Section and or undertaking the buying, selling or other similar activities [including, but not limited to trading, swapping and part exchanging]on the CarpForum [Hereafter to be known/described as the "Forum"] is subject to the following rules/conditions.
(L1) The Forum is not a trading site, first and foremost it is a venue for anglers to share experience, ideas and opinions pertinent to carp angling and associated subjects.
(L2) The Forum has no duty implied or otherwise to review user's listings and is not a party to the actual transactions between buyers, sellers and/or traders. The Forum is not responsible and you shall not hold Forum responsible for other users' actions or inactions.
(L3) It is the responsibility of the parties involved in any transaction to ensure they have satisfied themselves of the identity and good repute of any other party involved in the transaction.
(L4) The Forum has no control over, do not guarantee, and you will not hold us responsible for:
the quality, safety or legality of items advertised;
the truth or accuracy of listings;
the truth or accuracy of feedback or other content posted by users on the Forum;
the ability of sellers to sell items;
the ability of buyers to pay for items; or
whether a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction.
(L5) The parties to a transaction accept sole responsibility for the legality of their actions under laws applying to them and the legality of any items they list on the Forum.
(L6) The Forum use techniques that aim to verify the accuracy and truth of the information provided by our users. However, user verification on the internet is difficult and cannot be guaranteed.
(L7) The Forum cannot and does not confirm, and is not responsible for ensuring, the accuracy or truthfulness of users' purported identities or the validity of the information which they provide to us or on the Forum.
(L8) The Forum (including owner/s, agents and Moderators) shall not be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any business losses, such as loss of data, profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation or business interruption or for any losses.
Release
If you have a dispute with one or more users, you release the Forum (and our owner/s, agents and Moderators) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such dispute.
