CLASSIFIED SECTION GENERAL RULES - YOU MUST READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING RULES AND THE INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN THE LEGAL SECTION BEFORE YOU POST IN THE CLASSIFIEDS AND/OR TRADING ON THE FORUM
(R1) Only members who have been issued with, and currently hold a  icon are permitted to post in the classified section and/or to buy, sell, trade or conduct any similar activity on the CarpForum in any other section (Including by Private Messaging).
(R2) No EBay-style selling, all goods must have a FIXED PRICE attached. Links to EBay items you or an acquaintance are selling are NOT permitted.
(R3) Any Non-Carp items must be posted in the 'Non Carp' section. Items listed in the classified section or/offered for sale on the forum must not also be listed on ebay or other auction sites at the same time.
(R4) Each member is permitted a maximum of one active thread in the classified section for all items that are 'For Sale' plus one active thread for all items that are 'Wanted' and one active thread for items that are for "swap".
(R5) Knives, guns, other offensive weapons, copied DVDs and CDs are NOT permitted to be sold.
(R6) The classified section is provided to enable members who have been issued with a to buy/sell/swap their unwanted tackle. Unless by prior arrangement, no member is permitted to sell or trade products or services for profit. For trade enquiries contact the site owner (Karlos).
(R7) Agreeing to sell an item is considered a BINDING CONTRACT. Anyone who agrees a sale with a member, and then sells to a higher bidder, will have their right to trade removed. Similarly, a buyer who backs out of an agreed deal may also be banned from further trading.
(R8) If you are buying or selling on behalf of a friend, you MUST have a thumb in place, and you must conduct ALL aspects of the transaction yourself. This includes but is not limited to, personally dealing with all enquiries, making and/or receiving of payments and the delivery and/or receipt of goods. The forum member placing the advert will be held fully accountable for any issues arising from the transaction.
(R9) Only one "bump" on threads within any 24 hour period this includes noting every sale to bump the thread. Please simply cross through sold items on the original thread to indicate a sale.
(R10) Inviting offers is not permitted. This includes the use of "ONO" or "OVNO" etc. The canvassing for interest and/or values is not permitted. The classified section is for those who have decided to buy and/or sell/swap only.
(R11) Only posts from genuine buyers/sellers are permitted in the classified section. General chat and/or nonconstructive posts are not permitted.
(R12) The description of items for sale/swap should be clear, concise (Make, Model, Age, Condition) and include details of any damage, defects or any other information that a potential buyer should be made aware of.
(R13) It is the responsibility of the seller to ensure any item sold is safely received by the buyer. If a buyer claims an item has not been safely received and the seller cannot provide proof to the contrary (i.e Special delivery tracking/delivery confirmation etc) then the seller will be expected to provide a full refund including any fees charged for P&P. If a transaction cannot be conducted in person then It is imperative that any items sent from buyer to seller or visa-verse are sent by a fully tracked and insured method. PROOF OF POSTING IS NOT PROOF OF DELIVERY!

Any member who, in the opinion of the site owner and/or Moderators has breached either the word or spirit of the rules shall be liable for punishment by way of retracting their icon and/or a ban from the Forum. Under normal circumstances any removal of the shall last for a minimum of 6 months but may be longer. If a member is banned from the Forum this can be for a period of anything from 1 week to a lifetime ban. The Forum also reserves the right to apply other penalties on a case by case basis.
