Is there something you have recently done or discovered that could have been making your life so much easier that you can't believe has taken you so long to find......

My two lakes involve a decent barrow on some pretty up and down ground to some swims. I'm reasonably fit for my age, (Gym 4 times a week at least, 10K steps every day, 28 minutes to run a 5K) and despite lightening the load and using a rucksack to take some weight off the barrow I was blowing out of my arse half the time and thinking I may have to go electric.....

However, a mate of mine suggested a tri-porter conversion kit for my MK4 Porter and all I can say is WOW.....what a difference, literally a full load is pushed about with one hand......should have got one years ago.....

I felt like I was taking quite a gamble getting a powerprter
About 12 years ago but it's been solid only on the 2nd battery replacement.

now that is odd ... i hated the accessory triporter wheels on my MK4s ... I even bought the Triporter Big Boy barrow and didnt like that either ... Ive so far resisted the Power-Porter lol

I wont go into detail but I have a health condition and its literally been a game changer for me

I recently racked all my garage out earlier this year (boredom through lock-down between Jan and March) after decades of make do and mend shelving/racking and dumping, I can find everything now without moving tons of crap to find it.

Edit:the picture was when I finished doing it, doesn't look as tidy now.

I did a hub motor conversion on my barrow in the first lockdown, I bought a kit from China which is basically the same one that the Nash power barrows use. I travel relatively light but it has made a massive difference to my fishing...

With the triporter setup I think its solely down to where you fish.
I must have had mine on a good 3 years before they could be properly used. As it would always tip.

But I go to some places now that are so level I raise the legs a
Bit and I neither have to lift or push. But tomorrow
I'm doing a night at my local those rear wheels won't touch the ground.

That's great. Wouldn't helpme that much . My wife moans that the garage is packed. I had to point out. That all 3 occasionally go fishing. So there's night kit for all of us. Plus a filing cabinet
All 3 wheelie bins. 4 bikes. A freezer and a tumble drier.

One of the lads at my lake lent me his tri porter on the weekend (I didn't bring mine as didn't need it but ended up moving a couple of times)

Absolute revelation! but he said you basically need a van as they don't really pack down.

Except for some strange reason the photo makes my racking look all on the piss I can guarantee it is up right, between the lines in the level anyway.
