I’ve been subscribed (annual deal) for a while, with a few exceptions (e,g,Samir and Claire’s drops) I wait to watch it in the monthly “zine format’ posts. It’s all a bit ‘take your pick’ from my viewpoint....

I found the content great when it was the longer episodes and thought it was a fair price for what you get. The filming and stuff was great quality. However since moving to shorter films and just giving named anglers a camera and telling them to document stuff the quality went down the pan and I have since unsubbed. I think the interviews are really good and are definitely worth a look.

Yes I think I’ll continue to mirror it for now and look to upgrade our TV as it’s a good few years old now and a very early smart TV 👍

Same for me. I was able to watch it on my smart TVs but the navigation was unwieldy. I ended up cancelling after a couple of months, it just wasn’t for me. There’s a lot of material there though.

You used to be able to AirPlay but they took that option away for some reason, I’ve found mirroring with screen lock turned off works okay or if you’ve a smart tv with web browser watch that way, but on my Samsung tv the menu is difficult to use.

Appreciate that bud, I just wondered if it’s actually possible to somehow view it directly via Apple TV somehow that’s all, that way I can use the remote to play pause etc

How are you watching Cypography? Is it possible to view it through Apple TV directly rather than mescreen mirroring it via my IPad ? My iPad occasionally looses connection which is frustrating! I’ve had a good look through the Apple TV menu and nothing jumps out, any help appreciated 👍

Interesting watch, found it difficult to follow at times, well documented he'd gone wayward but looks way older than his years. Still love his Basil and the Redmire commons and beard/flat cap shots. Still fascinating to listen to though. Looking forward to seeing the other interviews when they are done.

You get access to everything I believe, there’s even loads of the old carp tv available, there’s a hell of a lot of content for the subscription cost, I subbed for the year to make a nominal saving 👍

If you subscribe do you only gain access to the current months video?

Or access to current and past contents? Assume just current.

Carp Fix same.

I have also subscribed from the start back in autumn 2017, I’d concur with your thoughts that there’s some very good episodes and then there’s some that seem mediocre at best, obviously it’s difficult to produce consistently high grade episodes back to back.
I think since the change around to weekly releases it’s different, it’s not always immediately obvious what’s been released and nothing seems to be date stamped with when it was released meaning occasionally I’m stumbling on vids I’d not noticed had been released etc.
Upon re-subscription I opted for the one off payment of £83.99 for the whole year giving a slight saving.
I watched Joe Morgan’s new project (Carp Angle on YouTube) last night and have to say it’s got that essence of the old carp tv and looking forward to watching his escapades over Cambs way unfold!

Likewise I've never seen or heard of this before. Was there an approximate size/age on the 'baby' fish? I had always thought that the common was a bit of a loner, and from what I remember of the Terry Hearn piece on it you couldn't just wade through the rest of the fish to get it. I wonder if it's new behavior for the fish?

Interesting - I’ve never seen anyone have a dig at Elliott or Scott until this thread.
Never met either of them but they come across pretty well to me.

I think Cypography is decent. I’ve watched them all and yes there were a few episodes that weren’t as good but you’re going to get that. Overall they’re enjoyable, well put together little programmes.
You have to respect anyone that goes out and goes it alone, especially in this industry. Yes I’m sure he’s got a good support network but IMO Elliott comes across as a good lad who’s taken the plunge and it’s gone well for him.

Gotta love forums eh..... footage of the BC feeding a little carp, unprecedented behaviour imo, but let's forget about that and start slating the angler. Besides, who cares about carp behaviour when we can go to the tackle section and discuss power packs and bivvy slippers, or start the 600th thread on the ronnie in the rigs section?

The latest episode starts with a piece on Scott Lloyd and shows some footage he filmed on Burghfield. He goes on about the biggun 'mothering' a smaller common which he reckons was a reoccurring theme (he actually caught this smaller common just before the biggun).

Anyway, the footage shows the BC taking a floater, swimming a good 10 yards back to where this little common is sitting in the weed, and feeding it to the little'n.

I have spent hours and hours, days even, up trees watching carp and I have NEVER seen anything like that. Most carp tend to have 'mates' if you observe them over long periods but not once have I seen them feeding each other.

Has anyone on here seen anything like that? Blew my mind I have to say.

I saw the free one which has given me the nudge to subscribe to these. I have a new baby at home and have promised the mrs the first year my fishing will take a back seat. I haven't done a night since November and only 1 day since! So hearing people speak about their campaigns is the closest I will get to one.

Some of the interviews I’m not to interested in so just skip them. For the price of a magazine it’s worth it for me. As mentioned before they are around 2.5 hours long now so not to bad value for money

Generally have found them very interesting, the nick helleur one is great, and the interviews with peck, fairbrass, Paisley are particularly good

£5.99 for what are now getting on to 3 hour films isn’t bad going

I only purchase the episode for the interviews to be honest, not really interested in Elliott's own personal fishing. The Danny Fairbrass, Jason Hayward (the best one IMO), Si Bater and Si Hartop interviews were great but Dave Lane's could have been so much better!

£6 a month mate👍🏻I’ve subscribed since the start, some have been excellent but I feel it’s getting a bit samey of late.

High points for me have been the trip to Belgium with Gaz Fareham, Els winter campaign on a local pit and the Tim paisley interview (truly riveting).
A lot of it does centre around Elliot and his mates fishing... some will love this and some may not.

The interviews on it are done by Rich Stewart and he does them bloody well if you ask me!

I see mr. Shelley is on this coming months... will be interesting to see what that’s like... he’s certainly a colourful character!

If you used to watch carptv, then some of the format will be familiar such as the quickfire interviews (great concept!) and all issues can be streamed or downloaded to keep.

On the whole it’s very well put together each month and well worth a watch.

After watching a lot of the free four hour taster thats recently appeared on YouTube. I thought I might pay to watch a few more. I know I can be a bit dense at times but I couldn’t find anywhere on their website that says how much it costs.

Does anyone watch these either paying as you go or on subs and can tell me what they cost?

Cheers
