Hi guys, I'm looking to tweak a boilie mix to give me a slow sinking food bait, a method I've been playing with seems to work best with baits that will shift about a fair bit.

I know krill is light but a few other options would be good

Sodium and calcium calcinate are low density and will help with what you are trying to achieve. You will probably want to use a combination as the ingredients have other properties that might affect your bait.

You can get a shrimp meal which Is light as it contains a lot of shell. Just don't bog it down with liquids

Am I right in thinking casseinates are highly soluble too?

How quickly do they perish in a mix? The bait I use I find best 2 to 3 days out the freezer, most milk based baits I've used are best when they're barely defrosted, is that something to consider or am I just overthinking

Shrimp should fit the overall theme of the bait well

The bait usually has a heavy dose of hydrolysate, is there a more neutral alternative as the liquid does sink like a brick

You will have to run some trial batches to get the dosis right but shrimp meal will do the trick without losing the hydrolysates
Are you sure?
