Maxi was more than a singer, he was a wordsmith, his contribution to music is up there with many other greats.

Back in the day when I was in a band, I remember being down at the Cartoon in Croydon sorting some gigs and her lot were playing... godawful racket but nobody seemed to mind too much... funny that eh?
