I believe a ticket can run from one year from the date of purchase
Although I might be wrong

Riberie are now keeping deposits on cancelled trips even if they are rearranged or you have other trips booked and telling customers to claim on travel insurance

The email said it has to be used within one year from today but the but the travel date can be later, I think if you paid in full you can get a full refund, we partly paid with tesco clubcard vouchers.

I have been reading a few reviews and It sounds like it may depend on who you get on the other end of the phone to what they will do for you, there argument regarding refunds seems to be that they are still operatin.
If I can get a voucher then that could work out well. I am just sitting on my hands at the moment until next month 👍

Due to booking P&O with Tesco vouchers ...............They would only offer a crossing if taken before the end of this year.
Had it been a full cash booking , I could have had a full refund.

Goodwill gesture like many other fisheries have done, probably still trying to get financial assistance from 1 Government or another, depending where they are tax registered.
In theory and my interpretation as an accountant, if they are keeping the deposit money then technically they are still trading in so far that they still have an income and should therefore not be entitled to Government support.

That's not good from Ribiere, especially during these terrible times..
anglers certainly will not go there after this, if that is their attitude!!
I see that most other venues offer a full refund, or alternate dates..
Look at LDP for a good example.
How can they take your deposit with offering something in return for the funds??
What was the outcome??

Just out of interest mate: Did you see the feed from AnyCarper on March 28th..?
His was able to move his trip to Ribiere later in the year, using his deposit on the cancelled trip..
You should check that out seeing as you have lost your deposit (if that's what has happened)??
Good luck....

It doesn't state its not transferable so i would expect it to be transferred to another booking . It also states that deposits are non refundable except in individual, exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Domaine de la Riberie. So is this not exceptional circumstances. If I had cancelled then I would expect to lose my deposit but I have`nt. French and English governments have stopped me going, pretty exceptional reasons.

How much 'good will' can a fishery give.
I am failing to see why people expect the lakes to pay out.
You book your trip you take insurance OR NOT !!!
Where is the incentive for people to take insurance in the future
More interesting would be ... how many of these anglers actually have the insurance in place ??
As stated previously , I have had one English venue keep the deposit because I refused to pay the balance and then have to claim on my insurance if we were still prevented from travel.
And my French trip has insurance in place ............ I pay the insurance (bank ) and I go to them to refund me .....simples
