Facts are easy, world moto gp champion
2013 MM
2014 MM
2016 MM
2017 MM
2018 MM
2019 Well it won't be Rossi, don't get me wrong Rossi has in the past been a fantastic champion and a great ambassador for the sport.

World superbike constructors champions ducati 17 Honda 4 as an aside I owned both 916 and an sp1.

As much as I respect mms riding skills he will never have a folllowing like rossi. Even in the spanish races his support puts more bums on seats. I was in san marino the weekend and the amount of money his support puts into the surrounding towns bars cafes hotels etc is astounding. Not to mention what his shop in talvuela took off me :/

Agreed, nobody likes to see their idol loose and rossi has been at it a very long time and has a massive fan base, he is going to have a huge influence on the sport even when he stops racing himself his precence will be there through his racing school.

Fans, trouble is when fans have their hero, be it moto gp, football, boxing etc very few can look at another competitor and and admit a rival is more highly skilled or has a superior natural talent. When rossi was winning rivals claimed the yamaha was so much better than the rest of the grid, now they say Honda is but the fact is very few are capable of riding any of these machines and fewer still capable of winning but when someone wins consistently they are a special talent.

the day Moto gp fans stoop to the level of football supporters ill stop going . some Moto gp forums are turning into right slanging matches,bt sports Moto gp page add flames to the fire also.sadly there is a lot of arm chair fans. the hotel I was in had mixed support, and we all had a good time over the weekend over several beers with no arguments just friendly banter no throwing bar stools at each other..mm doesn't help himself though, after winning at the weekend he didn't need to stop infront of stand brutapela gold where myself and many many other Rossi fans were sat to celebrate the win, its obvious he would wind up the ities .

I think what Rossi did with Yamaha was unreal, took them to another level and got the results. I wonder f he put his hand on his heart who was his best bike and team ever, I'm gonna go for Honda, faultless at the time and another one, why would you leave such a successful combination?

What I'm saying is I wonder where he would have gone with Honda if he had stayed there?

Agreed, it was Burgess that made that bike work race after race. As for MM celebration in front of that stand come on, after all the booing and geering he has endured from them and the snide off camera jibes from rossi why not, it's exactly the type of thing Rossi would have done in his heyday but he would of had the chosen few of his entourage there with him.

Not really, I don't like or dislike any of them really I just love watching them do what they do but I am well aware of the fact that as spectators we only get to hear what the pr lawyers want us to hear and often that is their version of the truth.

its a shame Lorenzo is injured and not getting on with the Honda. shame he moved from ducat just after getting the hang of riding it.id say he would of gave mm a race most weekends.as for puigi slagging him off on camera is bang out of order.i hope Jorge jumps ship end of the season and gets a ride elsewhere then starts showing his class..thats iff he doesn't retire.his heads all over the place at mo.crutchlow has said one more season then his off to live in California, zarcos got the boot from ktm..going to be a lot off shuffling about end of season I think..

I don't think anybody does, we just have our favourites, MM is a dirty rat, all part of a sport we love

Riders at a completely different level altogether

Except for TT / road racers, different level of Ming mong altogether

Would love to see Jonathon Rea in Moto GP
