On the attestation you state your reason for entering France.
Going on a jolly with the lads with a bit a fishing thrown in isn't an option to tick I'm afraid.... you can argue this out with French immigration.
You can't even blag it as a work party, they've missed this one out as well.
Fingers crossed it'll be a temporary requirement.....

Just like current attestation I need to go shopping or to the pharmacy. It has changed from the original form to a more detailed form with more options. I predict the same with this travel attestation if it isn't scrapped altogether.

I recieved an email from carte d' peche last night like many of you who have bought a licence, it says the ban on fishing will stay in place indefinitely, ( public waters ) and no reimbursement as they are using the money to improve the lakes/rivers. But who knows things are changing daily. Now no jogging through the day! Like has been said December is a long time away so hopefully if the travel restrictions are lifted we might be all fishing by July .

My annual trip is again the sunny first 2 weeks of November. Still really unclear whether it can happen...... hope we can all get some fishing done in 2020😕

Has anyone done anything with their frequent traveler on the eurotunnel? I've got 3 trips left on mine that runs until August. Probably none of those trips will happen, I wondered if anyone had been able to extend their end date to use them or got a refund?

I went in November a few years ago(different venue though) , had a 67lb pb, a 50, few 40's so you might be in for a cracking week.just take some thermals, plenty of gas and now would be a good time to fabsil the bivvy for the rain.
Tip.
Get up on a single beep and watch the tip to see if its moving.... by the end of the season the fish are getting smart at ejecting hooks.

France lockdown extended to May 11th.....
BTW.
My trip this year was resolved completely amicably in what are extraordinary circumstances totally out of anyone's control and I could not thank the owners enough. Every situation is unique and people are doing all they can given the circumstances.
This is not anyone's fault (except maybe the Chinese communist rulers if you believe the conspiracy theories). So we just need to take it on the chin and put it down to experience.
At the end of the day were all losing out.
