Three yamaha's in the top five and vr fails to finish, with cameras on the bikes I don't he had much choice but to hold his hands up. Personal opinion but I feel he should have retire a couple of seasons ago.

I disagree with that, why should Rossi retire, ? his still the leading Yamaha rider overall. and was last year plus year before. he still enjoys competing and dare I say his level of fitness is above most 40yr olds..id say he won't ever get that 10th tital but as long as his enjoying himself he should carry on. Lin Jarvis gave a few clues away yesterday that Rossi is already testing parts for next year.

He was at the top for so long and he is clearly no longer the best, to my ming he never should have ended the partnership with his engineer. His race school has massive potential and I feel his time could be better spent there freeing up a potential ride for a younger hungry rider. His level of fitness may be high for his age but the older anyone gets the longer it takes to recover if the unfortunate happens.

I do agree he shouldn't of parted with burgess at the time when Yamaha engines were at there best, this year they ****ed up and chose a engine what is well below par . but they cant change due to Moto gp being run by the Spanish, say no more lol.

Watched the highlights last night, been away.

I was hoping Rins was going to win until he ditched it lol. Be nice to see a Suzuki ride for Rossi next season out with Mir

Disappointment again for young Fabio, what was wrong with that bike, all over! future star in the making though that lad

MV finally bags one and rat boy is second

Due to moving home I've only watched 1 race and the highlights of Assen, where the hell did Fabio come from He reminds of Stoner taming the Duc from time ago, how he didn't have a 'off' is beyond me, a talent for sure, looking forward to seeing more of him.

Nice to see mate, something fresh

Regarding the bike, not sure, thought it could have been a brake calliper problem? If it was a chassis problem that was a serious set up error, even so, great ride under the circumstances

Deffo one to watch, came from Moto 3 and then 2, not exactly pulled any trees up though, bit sporadic, but hey, who cares

Still no podium and 11 seconds down, five dnf's also helped his 4th place. Great last lap again. Feel for Dovi, taken out twice by someone else's mistake.

yes good win for suziki, rins can certainly get the best out of that bike..id say Lorenzo could to. but what with his injury and backing off testing today due to his injury I wouldn't blame him iff he called it all a day soon..rossi must of went home for a cup coffee then popped back to the race..11 seconds down lets hope he can do better at his home race in a couple of weeks..ill be in the Rossi stand wearing my cal crutchlow top.
