It's so long till the next test series there will be loads of names thrown about till then, but any batsman who starts the season well will fancy there chances for a place in the squad.
Joss buttler is one I'd like to see around the squad dunno what his keepings like tho, but would be great to see him and stokes batting down the order.
there's definitely room for a positive top order player, at number 4 with bell where he should have been for this series, number three.
Kp either won't be there or will be batting 5
It should make for an exciting start to the county season

Having seen him quite a few times at Taunton last year - Joss's keeping is fine, he also did well in the odi series against Aus. Not sure he's ready for tests yet, his batting in the LV championship was much improved last year, maybe with him getting more chance to keep at Lancs the series against Sri Lanka might be a chance if Prior doesn't score big early season. At this stage I'd put Kieswetter in front of Buttler, keeping is better, but not in England's long term plans - Steve Davis and James Foster are better than both, but in the same boat.

I like Davies, shame he didn't really take his chance. I only managed to get to t20s at the oval this summer, didn't see much first class unfortunately. I actually hope prior finds some form early season, he's been a key player for England for a while now.

Finally the torture is all over! All England can do now is build for the future!
I think most England fans should be overjoyed, the number 1 candidate to take over as coach for all forms of cricket is the current limited overs coach, Ashley Giles.
The limited overs side has done an amazing job this winter, winning a whole 1 game out of 8, this bodes well for the future of English cricket.

cook is a talented batsman, who i believe would be better concentrating on batting and relinquish the skipper's job
