If you read all my previous posts, you will see you are, in part, repeating much of what I wrote.
Your analogy about plucking a young kid out of the Bronx has, in reality, been proven by the 1000s of blacks serving the community in high profile, prominent jobs, i.e. senators, state governers, congressmen and women, city mayors, police chiefs, district attorneys, academics, high ranking military etc.
Many intelligent black commentators believe racism is largely a red herring, used by race baiters like Al Sharpton to prolong the victim narrative. They are victims in a way, but the black commentators believe it is as a result of social deprivation, led by father absence, welfare dependency, bad schools, gang culture and crime.
The US Asian community is about 6% and they lead the median income table for all races, by a considerable margin.
Racism has little effect on their success.
I believe BLM have duped the black community into aiming at the wrong target. Police brutality is a minor issue. They should be protesting the Democrat politicians who have overseen their communities for decades and done little to improve them. The welfare system acts against the 2 parent family rather than encourages it.
That's why mother only families are now about 75%. They insist on blacks attending local failed schools and try and curb the introduction of Charter schools, which give black kids a better education.
Democrats traditionally get 90% of the black vote. It doesn't serve them to try and lift the black community out of the poverty welfare trap.
Do your own research to find out what's really going on.

You're really not going to understand or begin to solve problems faced by any ethnic group without experiencing it first hand. It's easy to regurgitate figures and quotes from the internet but without first hand knowledge the ‘experts', politicians and commentators are pissing in the wind.
I do believe there's more of a misunderstanding of cultures than discrimination against somebody's melanin count. Like the post from this morning about people washing their arse instead of wiping contributing to the downfall of the country... wtf
I live in a ****hole and there are as many, if not more, white single mothers and mine was one of them. Doesn't sell papers reporting on them though.
And anybody wondering why people living on the bread line don't **** off somewhere else must not understand what life without money means. People can't afford to get to the shops, let alone buy anything. How are they supposed to relocate when they can't even eat or turn the heating on?

I have tried to list the problems and solutions of the US black inner city communities as those experts have spoken and written about and believe they are best qualified to do so.

I grew up on a ****hole council estate with a single parent surrounded by drugs, guns and crime! I knew I didn't want that for my life so got out and started from the bottom sleeping on peoples couches but working and saving to get myself on a path I was choosing!
As for people not having enough money to go to the shops, heating etc well if migrants can get from Iraq / afghan, cross the channel and make a new life in the UK , well I'm sorry but I don't buy into that at all and proved it myself!
Many will fail trying to better themselves but if they want it bad enough then many can achieve no matter there circumstances!

We had **** all when I was a kid but we still had a sense of ambition to do something or should I say this was installed in me from my parents

Exactly Scozza and thank you. Kids nowadays want to be on the get rich quick scheme of doing **** all, selling drugs and wanting to be the next stormzy or Ed Sheeran.......you make your own opportunities in life or stagnate and suffer!

BB I had it hard but I know so many who had it harder and have made good lives for themselves! Don't get me wrong there is further hardship than that but it's the drive that's lost nowadays and so easy to fall back and then blame it on various factors around them.

An accumulation of too many historic government and economic brain farts for it to be a situation we can fix in 5 minutes mate.
Financially, the throw away culture and desire to pay rock bottom price has created the dependence on economies such as China that operate differently to ours meaning we can't afford to compete for manufacture or assembly of anything. So we lose all of those ‘low skilled' positions.
The benefit system is irreparable, too much reliance and no realistic way out once you're in.
Kids in troubled areas need educating, not just the curriculum but life lessons that intoxicated, absent or just plain stupid parents can't provide.
An open mind and heart to different races, cultures and religions would go a long way too. I detest religion, but it has historically done a good job of teaching tolerance and morality. If it's practiced peacefully then good luck to them, but as with most literature some **** will interpret it the wrong way and spread misinformation.
