Imagine putting everyone in the same boat...by the same means does that mean anyone right wing is a neo-nazi racist??
I think they call it political profiling... apparently the police love to do that too

I'd say angry by the way you speak about them. Annoyed maybe?
Simple solution is no more benefits. Work for your money or be hungry, homeless and poor. People wouldn't come here anymore so immigration would go down massively (on the basis that everyone that comes here sponges off the government *sarcastic smiley*) and it'll be all fine and dandy.
Again, it's not the people's fault, it's the systems. If it wasn't on offer people wouldn't be taking it.

So sponging and getting away with it is a perfectly acceptable way of life?

What's the cost to the state of spongers vs the cost to the state of tax evasion?
Edit: not particularly in reply to Sir B

I think we can look closer to home first mate. What are we on now, 3rd generation of families that have never worked?
Like I have said earlier in the thread I contribute tax as others do and if it's going to some good, not a problem at all for me, I would happily pay more if I had to. There's a lot of people claiming benefits who have the capability to work. Let's get them back at it
There's old folks gardens to do, public places to clean up, you name it. You wouldn't have a business where a percentage of the work force sits on its arse and gets paid. it would shut them down eventually...
Not that hard is it?
You work you get full benefits paid in cash, possibly plus some? you don't want to work it's a reduction to baseline survival and it's paid in vouchers, no Sky vouchers though, that's a luxury, job done

You raise a good point Jon and it's something to address no doubt. By addressing this though does that mean we can fund sponging?
It all contributes to the total cost £ at the end of the day

Yes good point Jon tax evaders are basically spongers but with bigger bank balances both are unacceptable.

"The black population is about 14% in the US, and they commit over half of the homicides and represent over half of the murder victims"
I know it's a shocking statistic. It proves the USA is getting it wrong still and it's institutional. You know as well as I do that pluck a young kid out of the Bronx send him to a top school then onto Harvard and the kid would become a high earning decent man. Leave the kid in the Bronx, drugs jail murder etc is a likely outcome. Too me that's the thrust of the BLM movement. It's not good enough to just blame the kid.

I said way back we need people who do these jobs to feel valued. I think I said something like... I'd like to thank people such as road sweepers when I see them for doing a great job of keeping our environment clean and a nicer to be in but they'd probably think I'm taking the piss.
If we make these jobs valued then maybe they'd be less problem getting able bodied people to do them?
Ok maybe I'm a dreamer but they're plenty of those on here
Edit I like the voucher idea but I suppose that's against their human rights or something

There's over 8 million working people in poverty in this country after Osbourne's austerity. Great life! Get the 8 millions wages up the dole figure will fall.
