I could do that but knowing how some behave I'll identify a place and it'll kick off and I'm not in the mood.
Some people take certain flags the wrong way, even waving a flag at the Proms or a Brexit rally sets some people off .
I just want to go about my business and don't want any bother so I'm not comfortable wearing a Union flag where I don't know people.

Are you assuming that you know exactly what I'm assuming? That's a big assumption from you. You should know better about assuming things on this forum Wayne.
We can stick to facts only... the main reason the UJ and St. George's Cross are seen in a negative light by a very small minority is their links to far right extremist groups such as BNP, EDL, etc. So as I said, if you feel uncomfortable wearing them then have a word with farage, Tommy Robinson and the other leaders of those groups as it's their fault.

He doesn't want to join in with the adults or add anything to a constructive argument , his theories and ideology revolve around childish pathetic jibes solely designed to get a rise and nothing else , best left alone when discussing adult topics i'm sad to say !

it's funny how these 3 are moaning about feeling uncomfortable IF they CHOSE to wear a UJ or St George's cross flag in any form...
Yet showed little sympathy for those that have a different nationality or skin colour who cannot chose whether they display it or not and then feel uncomfortable and have abuse both verbal and physical directed towards them because of it.
A tiny fraction of how they feel is exactly how people of different skin colour, nationality, sexuality, gender, etc. feel every single day when they step out the house because it isn't limited to geographical areas where they are likely to be abused, it could be anywhere.
But of course it is the "poor old british me in my own country" brigade that obviously have it the worst...
Something to think about lads...

Think beyond your own little problem and realise it's not uncommon for people to feel uncomfortable for various things that they cannot chose to wear or show. At least you have a choice. Many don't.

In the wider world. What a chaotic response from the EU, USA, Canada and the UK to the escalating and very dangerous situation in Belarus. UK and Canada impose sanctions, the EU can't agree on sanctions because Cyprus wants to tag its own issues with Turkey onto the sanctions. Trump as usual is all over the place. Very brave people clearly the Belarusians trying to rip themselves out of Putin's sphere of influence. A united set of targeted sanctions could easily see the dictator Lukashenko fall and not a lot Putin could do. A chaotic response risk's emboldening Putin/Lukashenko and the Belarusian people will end up in a dark place.
