Similar to me, I like him as a rider. He has a great opportunity, he needs to stand up and prove himself. I guess he does not have full confidence in the bike since his accident
MM masterclass again, 2 x 100mph crashes in practice, finding the limit!!! stiches in his chin, battered and bruised and the bike not set up right but still holds on for the win, incredible

MM is a living legend, enjoy what you are seeing, probably the greatest motorcycle racer ever and in an era that will not really move on with tires been the limiting factor

Yep, beaten Agostinis record now, Rossi next, can't see him not doing it!
Interesting re additional weights on the bikes in WSB, can't rem who it is but started at 5kg, still didn't stop him, now 7.5kg and can't compete.

Personally I'm not a fan of weight penalties. Ok a lower weight rider has an advantage in power to weight ratio but riders move around on the bike placing weight where they want it while a fixed weight penalty obviously cannot be moved.

Best thing they did for me, Batista was like a fly on that V4, at one point 12 bike lengths on the straights, like cheating and the riders knew it. Credit to Ducati of course for building such a monster!
As a fan you know who the best riders are, Toprak, look at VdM on the same machine! NB is getting a lot more out of the Ducati than AB but again, the Ducati is far the superior bike. Toprak is riding the nuts of that BMW all the time and he is the king on the brakes and probably one of the main reasons he can compete with Ducati. Cant wait while he joins MotoGP, i can see some elbow to elbow action with MM
I guess the test will be how he transitions to carbon brakes and the equivalent diamond encrusted bike!

I love Ducati's and have a few, premium motorbikes that put a beaming smile on your face, the Ferrari of the bike world.
I was never a big fan of Fogerty though for that reason, I think he had a distinct advantage at the time on the Ducati!
The leveler would be all the same manufacturers like they have in some classes but for the premier class, I guess people want to see the bikes they own do well and you could question would it bring the same excitement as someone cruising on a Ducati with ridiculous straight line speed and a bloke riding the absolute nuts off a BMW

The bikes have to conform to the minimum weight limit, there isn't a great deal of difference in the weight of riders currently in Moto GP, The lightest current MotoGP rider is Marco Bezzecchi, weighing 61 kg, while the heaviest is Luca Marini, weighing 69 kg. If you look at the bike and rider weight and compare their power to weight ratio's the power makes the biggest difference.
