Yes but if you believe the MSM didn't they have 30 new strains of Covid 19 three to four weeks ago.
Apparently the plague is now curable but if untreated leads to death, like every symptom of every illness if you search on Google.

There are a few cases every year, I'm sure I read that there were a couple of cases in the US within the last fortnight or so but I can't find the article now. Of course, Mongolia is close to China so this one will get loads of coverage.
Remember the ‘Summer of the Shark' back in 2001. No increase in the amount of shark attacks but there was hysterical coverage up until the 9/11 attacks. It sold papers.
Flat Earth News by Nick Davies and Risk by Dan Gardner are worth reading to see how the news cycle and the inherent human misunderstanding of dangers can escalate what is probably a non-story into a BIG story.

The theory is it isn't means tested so for everyone, hence the vouchers. Use them, lose them or pass them on upto you. Makes sense for the struggling High Street to get moving and job retention

I found the recent stories about the sweat-shop clothing manufacturers in Leicester really surprising.
I assumed that sort of thing only happened in Asia. Don't these places ever get inspected by Health and Safety or similar? Did everyone know it was happening?

I was shocked too. Makes a mockery of the 'made in the uk' tag they use when selling the stuff. Primark and the like get a lot of stick for their foreign factories but it's surprising to see it's happening here too.
The clothing industry is appalling in lots of ways. Exploiting workers in terms of pay and conditions. Environmentallly it's terrible. Read a thing about the ecological damage done by making a single pair of jeans.... ridiculous
All so that people can buy a dress or shirt for a fiver every week.
