Doesn't do much for me TBH, some strange chords in there!
Have a great evening and don't let that starlight play tricks on your eyesight

The 2nd Edie Brixkell was ok but the first one was very good
Wall of Voodoo
That voice reminds of someone but can't think who at the moment.
Edit the pennies dropped and the connection made. Stan Ridgeway

post 770....
that 1st track isn't easy to listen to! pick a tempo / time signature!
like the 2nd one though. bit of Kurt Weill influence maybe?
Do you know these guys? Tiger Lillies. Been around ages and one of my favourite live acts. First saw them at the Edinburgh Fringe blurring lines between theatre / music hall / gig... Bass player plays a wood saw with a violin bow. Drummer uses all manner of things as percussion. And Martin sings with his cracked falsetto and accordion. Brilliant performers.
Huge back catalogue - so many to choose from....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H54qEy4hrqs - living hell
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6huZ4uEeofg - 'Jack' (brilliant concept album)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm_YBZL7TG8 - Covid-19 album performance
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx4qdh4B9Gw - alone with the moon. beautiful!

honestly mate they are fantastic.
Death and the Bible is a fave of mine.
Lulu - A Murder Ballad
Shockheaded Peter was a great theatre piece.
Punch and Judy is very dark....
Saw them loads of times - a highlight was at Edinburgh in the Speigeltent which could have been made for them! bloomin' marvellous!
