I think what Braders was really saying is if it's really that bad and awful here then go somewhere else. Not wanting something better as we all want that.
For all it's faults this country is not that bad but the way some people go on you'd think they'd have a better chance claiming asylum elsewhere.

i was being flippant tinhead. maybe too subtle ...
it's a shame joe average is getting fed up with BLM, but I guess it's easier for some to switch off from it and it doesn't help when the message is hijacked by idiots or misunderstood by people too lazy to bother finding out what is really going on - like our Foreign Secretary for example
I'm glad there is still momentum there and that some positive changes are starting to happen. Good to see everyone concerned at Burnley FC condemning the idiots from last night.

It is a shame and totally avoidable.
My mate's mum and dad used to run the Balaclava Arms pub in Bermondsey no doubt someone who's seen what's going on in Ealing will want it renamed the Guru Arms and also the streets and school around it called Balaclava and Alma renamed.
Sorry but even my most tolerant missus is getting fed up now.
It is a shame and totally avoidable.

So you're getting pissed off at the totally imaginary call for the name of a road where you don't live to be renamed if another road where you don't live gets changed, which isn't certain, but you read they're thinking about it?

Agree with you here Mal, but it's a trait of the majority. Look at the ocean plastics issue. A documentary with a turtle with a straw up its nose and the entire country goes Beserk, yet they are happy that plastic straws got banned and plastic bags are charged for, like the entire issue is now solved and it's left to the ones that were kicking up a fuss anyway to keep on doing so without the backing of the general public.
The majority only get outraged for a week or so and then go back to the quiet life away from the issues. It suits them, and each to their own, but it means the problems never get resolved. Being fed up of it just means you want it to go away now and be forgotten about, not actually deal with the issues.
The irony being that the government relies on this type of attitude on every issue to be able to do as they please without significant uproar. The moaners will always moan about every and all protests, the protestors will campaign for most issues and try to raise awareness and the government will always so very little in terms of change because they aren't pressed by the majority for long enough.

The issue is sensitive because Europe's biggest gurdwara, the Sri Guru Singh Sabha, which is at the heart of the Sikh community in Southall, stands on Havelock Road.
Why did they build it there if it causes offence?

agreed - luckily I don't think this is going to go away quietly as it impacts on so many lives day to day
