Be interested on the outcome of this considering the bans Sturridge and Barton got for the same thing.

Sturridge 4 months = 11 alleged bets
Barton = 18 Months - 1260 bets !
Toney = 232 allegations.

Got to be looking around 12 months?

13 games for 7 alleged breaches by all accounts.

Been plenty of wrongun's that have carried on playing for England. If he gets a 12 month ban though he may just have missed the boat.

Not picked for England on 'footballing grounds' apparently.
Cobblers! He's a form player, we all know he should be there.
Be very interesting to see what he gets.

Genuine question. What's the 'crime' for players betting so long as its not a game they're involved in?

Is it just a perception of insider knowledge?

Not that I'm advocating gambling. I used to know a lady who owned Chas Kendall shops... she lived in the biggest house in town and never drove anything less than a new jag..
Only one winner in that game
